Tour Conditions

Participating Carriers: All members of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). The airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not on board their planes or conveyances. The passage contract in use by the airlines concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and the purchasers of the tours and/or passengers. Itineraries are based on air schedules currently available and are subject to change without notice.

Air Fare and Land Cost: The price quoted is in U.S. dollars and is valid until December 31, 2023. Prices are subject to change without notice due to currency fluctuations and foreign tariff increases. Airport taxes and two pieces of luggage per person are included.

Hotels: Accommodations as specified based on twin-bedded rooms. A limited number of single-room accommodations are available at an additional charge.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily according to the itinerary.

Airport transfers in the Holy Land, transportation, sightseeing and porterage: are included as listed in the itinerary

Taxes: Airport taxes are included in the cost.

Not Included in the Tour Price: Expenses of a Personal Nature, Passport, and Visa Fees (if applicable) Passports must be valid for a minimum of six months.

Tips: Not included are hotel staff, guides, drivers, and other persons rendering services to the group.

Cancellations and Refunds: A $200.00 non-refundable deposit is required upon completion of the registration form. 90 days prior to the departure date, an additional deposit will be required to secure the space on the airline as well as on the land tour portion.  Cancellations made within 90 days will result in the forfeiture of the initial two deposits.  30 days prior to departure, the balance will be due.  Any changes made within the next 30 days are at the sole discretion of the tour operator.  See the payment schedule for more details.

Insurance: While every effort is made to ensure that baggage is properly handled, Arax Travel or its representative or agent is not responsible for damage, loss, or theft. Baggage, trip cancellation, and health insurance are inexpensive and highly recommended.

Itinerary Variations: Arax Travel is constantly striving to improve each itinerary and feature. If improvements can be made or conditions beyond our control deem changes necessary, we reserve the right to vary itineraries and make substitutes in consultation with each tour leader.

Responsibility of Tour Operator: Arax Travel, Jerusalem (its representative or agent) gives notice that all tickets and coupons are issued by them, and all arrangements for transportation, conveyance, or hotel accommodation are made by them as agents upon the express condition that they shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of defect in any vehicle or through the acts of default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passenger, carrying out the arrangements of the tour, or otherwise in connection herewith, or of any hotel proprietor or servant. Such conveying, etc., is subject to the laws of the country where the conveyance, etc., is provided. The aforesaid company can accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in plane or other services, sickness, weather, strikes, war, quarantine, or other causes. All losses or other expenses will be borne by the passengers. The right is reserved to refuse to accept or retain anyone as a member of any tour at any time, or to cancel or alter any tour if circumstances require. Any and/or all transportation companies herein mentioned shall have or incur no responsibility or liability to any traveler aside from their liabilities as common carriers. The airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event when passengers are not on board their aircraft. The usual passage contract used by the carrier, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airline and the passengers.
